It took Peter Melnychuk two university degrees (Political Science, Film Production) and a career as a boom operator in the film business before he found his true calling. He is a massage therapist by license who specializes not so much in muscles, but in precise work with the viscera (internal organs), nerves, and joints.
The depletion he experienced in the film business led him first to the vitality building practice qigong, and then to a related oriental touch therapy called Chi Nei Tsang (chee-nayt-song). He became certified as a CNT practitioner and instructor. With CNT’s focus on the abdomen, Peter found he could improve client’s physical and emotional digestion, even help them resolve IBS.
But CNT was not enough. What about the thorax and pelvis? Peter immersed himself in the european therapies of Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation. His formidable education in VM and NM can be found at iahp.com /find a therapist. Since 2004 he has served as a teaching assistant for Barral Institute VM and NM workshops.
When not working you might find Peter biking, practicing qigong, or playing soccer. He loves to travel, and has recently spent months at a time in the mountains of Mexico.
